What is Kids on 45th?
Kids on 45th is a real store, on 45th Street! We’re in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. We’ve been around for 29 years and focus on delivering the highest quality used kids gear available. If you’re in town, visit us at 1720 N 45th Street, Seattle, WA 98105.
Are used clothes as nice as new ones?
Our buyers are super picky about the items we accept: no fading, pilling, stains, or wear. Only items that are in excellent used or like-new condition pass our standards, so we think you’ll love them just as much as anything you’d buy new.
How does your wardrobe subscription work?
When you sign up for our subscription wardrobes, you will receive a delivery in advance of each changing season, 4 times a year. The wardrobes can be paused or cancelled. Before each wardrobe ships, we will send you a reminder to update your child’s size and review the items in your shipment. You can even order a wardrobe mid-season if you’re missing something!
Will I automatically be billed for next season's wardrobe?
No. When you checkout, you are buying a wardrobe only for the current season. We will reach out to you at the beginning of each season to remind you to build and customize a wardrobe.
Can I see the clothes I'm getting before my shipment?
The surprise is part of the fun! Each wardrobe is uniquely curated by stylists on demand, so we are not able to preview the wardrobes.
How do I make changes to my subscription?

What brands will be in my wardrobe?
You will receive a mix of brands, ranging from large (think Cat & Jack, Carters, Old Navy) to more specialty (like Hanna Andersson and Tea Collection). You may even get brands you’ve never heard of! Part of the fun is seeing what you get, and we always try to put a blend of brands in each wardrobe.
How do you source your clothing?
We source clothing through drop offs from customers at our Seattle store. We also get great discounted new and preloved items from stores and love to share those with our subscribers, too.
What happens to items you reject?
Items that have wear beyond our acceptance standards are donated to our favorite community partners, like Northwest Center (https://www.nwcenter.org/) and FamilyWorks (http://www.familyworksseattle.org/). Interested in becoming a community partner? Email us@kidson45th.com.
How do I make changes to my subscription?

How often will I receive wardrobes?
The default is 4 times a year, right before seasonal changes and back to school. Our current delivery schedule is March, June, August, and November. When you first sign up, you will receive a wardrobe right away. You can always request a date change or add a wardrobe mid-season.
How does billing work?
We will charge your credit card on file for the amount of the customized wardrobe as soon as you place the order, less any discounts or coupon codes.
I don't like an item in my wardrobe, can I return it?
Because our items are priced so low, we do not accept returns.
One of my items has a stain. What do I do?
Email us@kidson45th.com with a short description of the issue and a photo if possible. We’ll get you taken care of!
I'm a consignor at the Kids on 45th Seattle store. Can I use my credit for a subscription?
You bet! Email us@kidson45th.com and we’ll get you set up.
